…a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love…. Nehemiah 9:17

The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.  Psalms 145:8

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.  Psalms 30:5
